Light Train: light-weight applications of Mg and Al-Li alloys (to be submitted in May 2008)
- Reducing weight of rolling stock structures by 30%
- Reduction of fuel and energy consumption by 10%
- Incease of operational capacity by 10%
- Elimination of toxic chemicals, such as chromates and heavy metals, from surface treatment of components used today
